Medvedev: Russia will not be indifferent observer in the Caucasus

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said that Russia will never remain a mere observer in the Caucasus.

"Russia is historically is the guarantor of security of the peoples of the Caucasus. This is our mission and our duty ", - the head of state said at a meeting with the leadership of the parliamentary factions. "We have never been and will not be in the region indifferent observers", - he assured.
